| Breakup Story #19125 I dated this guy p.denn for about 2 and a half years. During those 2 and a half years we broke up twice. I always liked the idea of dating around. So after getting back together for the second time, he started acting like a jerk and wanted to take a break again. While he thought we were "on break" I started talking to another guy and eventually called it quits with p.denn. The other guy and I hooked up and went to prom together. | Breakup Story #19123 So I don't really know exactly how to say this, my break up wasn't the best. I had been secretly dating this guy for about 6 months, and everything was going great. He was the nicest guy that I had met in long time, sweet, strong, there for me, i couldn't get over the feeling that everything was so just too perfect, and that one day i would wake up from this dream. This one night we were at his house, for a movie night, and he made dinner and the whole ten yards. That's how amazing that night was, it was the nine yards plus one! So we were having a great night, or I was at least. It was during the middle of the movie, his arm was around my shoulder, lightly stroking my ear when he told me that we needed to talk. I sat up and looked at him, wondering what this was about. He took a deep breath, telling me that he didn't know how to say this, but that there was somebody else in his life, and that he thought we should just be friends. He felt too supressed in our secret relationship and wanted to be with someone free. I didn't know how to react, i was stunned. My entire dream world had just crashed down around me, and i couldn't respond. He let me have some "time to collect myself" and once i was composed i just walked out the door and walked home. I stayed home from school for a few days and when i got back i found out that he was in a new relationship. He had found a new boy to date, one that was open about being gay. I could never do that, and he never told me secret, of that i am so grateful, but even given a life time of time, i don't think i can forget him. |
